Paratopula macta are also known as golden tree ants they spend a lot of time in forest and jungle combined with their colours depending on the species they get their nickname, they are an aboreal species meaning they love wood and generally nest in wood and forest spaces.
Generally, this species is found in places such as Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
This species is rare and hard to find which is why as far as we know it’s never been for general sale in any ant store as of now.
What’s interesting about this species is the shape of the ant itself it has a curved abdomen and is different from any other ant species we have seen in person.
We do not know much about this species as not much is written, and stock is very limited due to this species being hard to find.

We have no control over the environment outside the test tube and have no influence in the conditions the responsibility once placed outside the test tube within the 14-day period the responsibility is with the buyer. 9 times out of 10 colonies die in the nest due to lack of water access, food, temperature, oxygen, or stress due to vibrations or exposure to excess light. If your colony does fail inside a nest contact us, we can advise what went wrong but it is up to you to buy another ant colony, you will succeed but sometimes it does not work the first time.
