This camponotus SP was found in Mexico close to Mexico City also known as CDMX we have yet to formally identify this species and its possible it has yet to be recorded. If you know the species name, please feel free to let us know! 
It has very beautiful colourations on the Queen with orange head and thorax and black gaster. The workers tend to have a dark head and gaster with orange thorax and there could be different colourations of majors come through. With this species you get a surprise, and it could make you the only keeper of this species in the UK which is more than likely as well as 1 of or if not the only ant keeper of this species in Europe.

We have no control over the environment outside the test tube and have no influence in the conditions the responsibility once placed outside the test tube within the 14-day period the responsibility is with the buyer. 9 times out of 10 colonies die in the nest due to lack of water access, food, temperature, oxygen, or stress due to vibrations or exposure to excess light. If your colony does fail inside a nest contact us, we can advise what went wrong but it is up to you to buy another ant colony, you will succeed but sometimes it does not work the first time.
